Last week Talgo shipped the first 15 car formation from their factory in Rivabellosa in Spain and this morning it crossed the border to Denmark hauled by DB Cargo.
On formation consists of:
Bpd - End car with area for bikes and prams
Bpt - Car with two toilets
Bp - Car without toilets

Bph - Car with PRM-area for three wheelchairs, PRM-toilet and vending machines (coffee/snacks)
Ap - First class car with 1+2 seating without toilets
Apt - First class car with 1+2 seating with two toilets
Bpd
One Bpd end car in each formation will be replaced by an Aps first class control car in 2026, identical to the ones in ICE L for DB. DSB initially ordered eight 15-car formations with two end cars each. In 2023 another eight 15-car formations were ordered, but this time with two control cars each. This means that each formation in the end will get one Vectron, one end car and one control car. Initially DSB planned to run them with a Vectron in each end, so the 16 Vectrons have already been bought and delivered.
The formations are technically very similar to ICE L, so even though DSB only required 200 km/h, they will be approved for 230 km/h to make things easier. As the DSB Vectrons can only do 200 km/h, that will be their service speed.
DSB aims to put them into revenue service in August 2024, but it will probably only be in domestic services until the timetable change in December 2024. Then they will run between Copenhagen and Hamburg - but nothing is official yet.
Here are two videos I have found on YouTube of the transport this morning:
