20 odd years ago. See photo at Ipswich below. The 322s also did peak trains to Peterborough with 317s after they got kicked off Stansted Express by the 317/7s but I can't find any photos.How long ago was that?

I didn't realise that 322s went to Manningtree for the Ipswich tunnel block, see below.

Class 322 units were used to operate additional services between Manningtree and Liverpool Street whilst the line was closed for 5 weeks between Manningtree and Ipswich to allow engineers to lower the track in Ipswich tunnel so that larger containers could be carried on freight trains.. According to Uk rail log, 341 445 are still active. 345 349 are scrapped and 439 is in warm store.31/3/21

Was it in service?!On a related note, just watched a Renatus 321 coupled to an ex-LO 317/7 pass through Shenfield. That was an odd pairing!
