I'd be surprised if it wasn't due to late confirmation by Network Rail of any engineering works. The last I heard on the matter was this, posted two weeks ago:It's been stuck at the 11th of October for weeks. When I queried this with them last week they didn't really give me a proper answer. I'm waiting to book tickets for mid-October.
Since that was reported, some dates have been released.Nothing was released this week (trust me I know) so we may catch up in the next couple of weeks.
Only 21st and 22nd SeptemberI'd be surprised if it wasn't due to late confirmation by Network Rail of any engineering works. The last I heard on the matter was this, posted two weeks ago:

I don't quite follow the logic; indeed the reverse can be true:I am also wondering what the hold up is as I am looking to visit a friend in Newark relatively soon. If these more affordable fares aren't release soon I won't be able to at this rate
The ticket for my train finally became available, and it turned out that it was much cheaper than I'd seen before. I only paid £54.80.
