Now that an election has been called, will this finally result in a settlement to this whole dispute?

I have heard rumours of a no strings deal that may be put on the table very soon.

Can't see an offer coming beforehand personally.
Conservatives probably hoping for ASLEF action for their right wing press mates to slag us all off to get more votes.

As with the thread the other day about ASLEF losing members, until there's actually there's something more solid than mess room gossip I think it's best we leave these sorts of speculative threads alone.
