E-ticket "battery" issue - is names on tickets an option for a fix?

To which they will show a complete lack of interest.

If they are completely inhuman or don't have a phone? Worst case scenario you wait for a nice person with a phone to come along.

I've just followed my own advice and created a pCloud folder for pdf tickets and I have remembered the address.

The best fix is to buy a ticket from a friendly TOC employee at the ticket office and board your train with a small piece of card that you can show on request.

I'm far more likely to lose a small piece of card than a mobile phone
