At present there is disruption across the whole of the East Midlands network caused by (a loss of power) at the East Midlands Control Centre.

It's reported that there has been a change of aspect in various areas and many trains are at a standstill.

It has affected the CIS along with many other things, as well as the signalling system.

Please note that due to the loss of power at #Derby , @EMTrains are currently unable to respond to tweets. If you have any questions regarding your journey for today, please tweet us and we will be happy to help!

Not the first time this has happened to the theoretically uninterruptable signalling centre. There's been several cases of trains being stuck and in one case overnight with trains being abandoned where they were sat. Be interesting to see what caused this one!

No EMT services leaving St Pancras at the moment. Just announced over the station PA a total loss of signalling between Bedford and Leicester.
