Hi all

I just wanted to ask anyone works for Elizabeth Line? I just got accepted for customer service assistant job there. Just wanted advice on how is the company. How is the pay? Is there good progression ability?

Will the pay ever be in line same or similar to that of TFL underground?

Would appreciate it if anyone would put light to the above questions

You've accepted a job without knowing what the pay is? That seems a little strange. I believe it is just under £30K.

LU terms and conditions and pay are very good in comparison and lots of Elizabeth line staff have jumped ship that way, especially those in central London stations. Progression is I suppose what you make of it.

I knew the pay. But with allowances etc do you get extra?

Just under 30k if you're in the London to Abbey-Wood sections and that includes the extras as the base is just under 27K.

These being 2k Competency Pay and night pay then you have Sundays which are time and a half paid.

No bonus pay / additional for Rest day working or overtime, hours on that are paid at flat rate which is under £15.

So normal day rate is just under £15/h? Are you sure. That’s really good

Anymore answers to the above questions?

Would be really appreciated

If they phoned you then they really like you. But it will take Recruitment up to two weeks to email you

They do tend to think they're the best as they are running the prestige project, but most of them have only got metro experience. And there has been a lot of reinventing the wheel. I wasn't impressed by the " if you don't want to work for us, just leave. We don't care" comment we got during company induction.

Having said that, when we got the new head of training a few years ago, he is a lovely guy who actually cares about people, which was nice.

It is an excellent opportunity to use as a springboard into a career with the wider industry, make the most of it

I heard the Lizzie line pay has increased and improved now. Or planning too.
They will give more hourly rate pay, plus more commentary pay and also night pay?

Do you know anything about this or heard anything
