I don’t know whether this is the correct section of the forums but I stumbled across this on RTT and it seems to apply to other sites too. A Euston to Wembley Intercity Depot ECS would clearly not go via Wembley Central, and in these services, Wembley Central is always “No report”. Can anyone explain this?

The service will go to Wembley Central and reverse into Wembley IC Depot. Happens all the time when there is an engineering possession at Harlesden Junction.

It appears to be en error when RTT have filled in the itermediate locations between Harlesden Jn and Wembley IC Depot. If you look at the WTT times at Willesden Sudbury Jn and Wembley Central you'll notice they are slightly greyed out meaning they are not in the base schedule data from Network Rail but filled in by RTT.

If you look on some other sites, these locations aren't included:

But then why is it a “pass” rather than a stop?

RTT also adds locations for that day's operations. If you were to look at tomorrow's or even next week or next month those locations are missing.

On the basis that Wembley IC Depot has entrances from both the Euston and Harrow ends it is certain that on various wekends and overnight on weekdays that ECS moves will only be allowed in / out of one rather than both entrances for the purposes of maintenance of those access points so you might see some strange looking schedules in RTT and other sites to account for this.

Because the doors do not open for passengers to get on/off.
But when a freight stops to reverse, for example Ipswich SS on 4L87 Leeds - Felixstowe, it lists that a stop.

That makes a lot of sense, I have noticed that, if looking for future schedules, lots of places are missing as they are on, for example, Railcam data.

Is the correct answer. There's a missing distance edge between Harlesden Junction round the back to Wembley IC Depot. This has now been added for the next graph update.

Thanks to @Shwam3 who reported this to support as I doubt we'd have noticed otherwise.

All infilled locations come up as a pass. In this case if it had actually happened the schedule would have showed a reverse here...
