4, there's not 5 diagrams yet. The 5 sets the other day werent all on full diagrams.

Think one is planned to come off Cardiff for either W57 or W19.
Ones planned to swap in onto.the 12:49 from Cardiff as the 4th set. It never went to Holyhead last Night so wasn't there to form it back this morning
HD01 is planned to swap diagrams at Canton forming 1W57 rather than the normal 1W19 on that diagram

82220 + 12215 + 12477 are the Mk4's being moved
12477 is the TO from HD05 so will stay in Crewe the other 2 are parts of HD08 being used as Coupling translators so won't stay in Crewe and will head back.

67014+HD02 made it off Canton but only as far as Newport with fire bells ringing on the loco.

All, 5Q79 isn't running tonight. It will now run on Friday morning to bring the DVT & TOE back to Landore. Loco will still be 37 800 and will leave straight after dropping the 2 Mk4s off.

Certainly isnt! Fortunately (although not really much consolation for those on it) it was scheduled a loco swap to 67008 tonight anyway so hopefully it doesnt affect it being out tomorrow.

Any ideas what Mark 4 diagrams are planned for Monday 12th February, or will that be established only over the weekend?
None of the current 4 sets not on exam are coming up for any works so barring any failures between now and then all being well all 4 diagrams would be out on Monday. Certainly planned to be enough sets at each start point after the weekend to be able to but obviously a lot can happen between now and then or on the day so could change!

And not a single Sprinter on Holyheads or Manchesters today! 2155 Cardiff to Crewe is a 150 but every other long distance north is a 197 or MK4. That’s good to see indeed.

Its running so far! All diagrams running again this morning.
It's certainly a very different picture compared to even just a few weeks ago.
That 2155 is booked a single 153 which then goes onto the Heart of Wales next day. It also attaches to a 158 at Shrewsbury to get that to Crewe so is effectively guaranteed to be a 15x.
No. Not sure where its upto to be honest. It keeps sacrificing its loco to keep the in service rakes going which keeps slowing down the exam.
It is fully formed as a 5 car with TO 12452 now in the formation.
Now HD05s coach is at Crewe, that Is planned to have 12477 added today. Until HD07 is complete though not much will happen to the exam on that set. It's also loco less after losing 67025.
As one of the sets will be in Holyhead all weekend there will only be 3 running diagrams on Saturday, however, the set at Holyhead is being eyed up (traincrew permitting) to potentially cover for a shortage of working 3 car 197s. If it does happen it would work a Holyhead-Holyhead diagram potentially starting 06:31 off Holyhead but would require amendments to remove the request stops on Anglesey.
But is dependant on Crew availability as some parts are covered by non-mk4 depots so isn't a certainty.
Sunday should then have both diagrams out with HD01 on the Crewe Diagram and HD06 on the Cardiff diagram.
Next week should then see a full 4 diagrams operating using HD01-04/06.

It'd be odd for the MK4 set to replace that diagram but we'll have to see how it's pathed tomorrow.
I'll go see HD01 Sunday, supposing nothing goes wrong over the next day or two
It's not a Mk4 diagram on the normal Saturday diagrams so almost definitely not. It's booked a 4 car 197, one from Canton joining to one from Milford Haven.
