I sat this test yesterday for the second time as my previous pass was too long ago for the TOC I've applied for.

I remember the first time I sat it, I went out of the course a fair few times and passed. This time I went out once over the 10 rounds - I passed again! I was surprised as I found it much easier this time around.

The only thing I can think of that's changed since last time is I have become a bit of a Microsoft Flight Simulator addict. I fly with a joystick and occasionally mix up left and right hand depending on what mood im in. Seems to have helped!

My previous advice of "have a few goes on the practice round by avoiding the finish line " was used again yesterday and no issues with the staff member telling me not to etc.

I don't play video games at all but I passed. I have two tips. Use the practice runs to familiar yourself with the joystick and what direction they go. Anything straight I flicked it really quickly anything around the curve I took a bit more time but like others have said I also I went out so many times but still manages to pass.

I am absolutely gutted making it so far through, passing most of the tests and failing at the end. I know why I failed but I was just stupid and nervous. I was trying to complete the whole shape within like 10 seconds, and sacrificed badly on accuracy.
I have read alot of things on this forum but nowhere can I find how long people took on the 2 hand co-ordination tests, so if you see this please let me know. I was scared of going too slow as they say both accuracy and speed are important as eachother but the other people in the room were taking like 1 min per shape which I would have thought is way too slow?
Any tips?

Also I have looked everywhere online to buy one of the keyboard with levers that they use but it seems its impossible to buy for common people :(
Use your practice try’s to the max

As mentioned above, for the straight bits move quickly then use your time on the curved or diagonal sections. Use the practice to get used to it.

Out of all 10 screens I think I only had 1 or maybe 2 where it didn't beep in my headphones and I passed. I only had one instance where it went fully out off the track and not just partially. I also set my volume low at the beginning of the tests as I imagine if it's set very loud it will be more of a distraction and put you under more pressure.
