Fatalities

Does anyone know where i can get some information on railway fatalities this year. I was particularly after an incident in the Kenton area on the WCML (near Harrow) i believe was in March where i just found out that an old school mate had died in an incident there

Try the HSE website and then HMRI website. Both hold investigations but I think the last might only investigate collisions and derailments but I might be wrong

Fatalaties with trespassers do not need to be reported to the RAIB and I am not sure if they actually carry out a public report on a collision with a trespasser.

It is unlikely that you would be able to get any more detailed information from BTP.

Details of the inquests in England and Wales into fatalities are sealed for 75 years. Police reports to the Procurator Fiscal in Scoland are also never revealed to the public.
