Favourite trains

Bit of an old thread, but I'll put mine down anyway:
EMUs: 309s, not sure why, or perhaps 442s (for the noise as much as anything)
DMUs: Probably the old 156 since it's taken me to the four corners of England
Electric: Class 91s (I remember them as new and grew up with them)
Diesel: HSTs, as long as they have Valentas (soundtrack to my youth)
Steam: Gresley Pacifics

EMUs: Class 507/8 because ive grew up with them all my life and rode them to hell on saveaways
DMUs: Class 180's Love doing them on the Victora - Blackpool services, I'm aiming to get on the Hull trains and Grand Central's ones.
Electric Loco: Class 87's I got there final heydays window hanging on the beasts into Liverpool Lime Street
Diesel Loco: HST/Class 47. I'm stuck between the two because the beginning of my train days i rode the 47's to the ground on the north wales coast but always tried to pick up the valentas on the Coast as well good memories.
