fcc carnet tickets

first capital connect sell carnet tickets from some stations. can they be used by more than one person, or just the person who buys them? thanks

If you mean on the great northern route (stevenage, welwyn garden city etc) then yes. Not sure if they do them on thameslink.

You get 10 printed tickets which you can distribute, valid for 3 months with a space at the top to put the date of travel in.

Furthermore, although you will have a massive argument with staff at east coast regularly, ones to stevenage and north are actually valid on east coast as they are routed "any permitted" and the peak has no restriction and the off peak restriction B1 (same as the off peak day)

i bought a set of 10. interesting that all ten are printed as from hatfield to london terminals. will they be valid in the opposite direction?

Yes - as detailed here. FCC revenue seem to be pretty clued up about them, but they don't work the barriers the "wrong" way around.

Don't forget to write date before travel though.
