Do the 444s have luggage racks like the 377s or just overhead racks?

Is the legroom on XC class 170s dreadful or is this exaggerated? What can it be compared to?

Will Northern's ex NWT 150/2s be refurbished? Was on one the other day very shabby and poor legroom

Were table seats removed on Crosscountry Voyagers? I noticed a long row of seats with no electronic reservations? Is this where Virgin ripped out seats to create luggage space previously... how was this space occupied?

Finally pleased FGW have repainted most stations between Reading and Banbury with new shelters at some. Looks like yellow banding on the lamposts has been used?

oh and are meridians less noisy than voyagers?

XC 170 legroom is fine in airline seats IMO, but they tables aren't that wide. Table seats weren't removed, but more seats were put in :) Meridians are about the same noise wise,. but are much better trains :)

The former NWT 150/2s will be 'refreshed' in the near future. They have been working through the 150/1s for the last few months.

Just overhead racks - because they are specced for what is predominantly a commuter route.

Oddly, only the suburban 3 + 2 style 377s have luggage racks. The "long distance" units (not that SN know how to diagram) don't.

They also have no cycle spaces at all, whereas a 444 has space for 6 bikes.
