FGW loco hauled services for olympics?

Heard a rumour that FGW planning hiring in loco hauled stock for next Summer when the Olympics are taking place. Can anyone provide any more information?

There was a tender issued for late-night addtional trains, probably loco hauled, some time last year, for during the Olympics on the main lines. Something to do with that?
