Fife Circle 68s , how much longer ?

Has anyone got gen , with 170s being released from other duties due to electfification ?
I suspect they may end in December so better get out with the light evenings , unless anyone knows more

Read somewhere december 2018 the planned end of the loco hauled workings.

The two LHCS sets used are of six vehicles each and from when I've travelled on these trains are pretty well used.
Will Class 170s be adequate/good enough?
