FIP Availability Göteborg - Oslo

What is the script with FIP coupons between Göteborg (Gothenburg) & Oslo. Some rumours say they are valid others not. I'm referring to NSB coupons in case any one wishes clarity.


Edit: just found this from the Czech Railways site. Looks like they are valid.

They were most definitely valid last year when I went on the service, and indeed the RSTL 'Travel Tips for Europe' specifically mentioned them. Oddly the current edition this year does not, so it is best to check with RSTL. They are NSB trains and sadly reduced now to only three each way.

Oslo S to Gotenburg via Halden - Yes - the service is run by NSB.
Ticket valid throughout.

Oslo S to Stockholm on X2K - No as the service is run by SJ.
Ticket not valid, even within Norway.

Flåm Branch - Special conditions apply
FIP Not valid at all


Ofotbanen - Special conditions apply
FIP Not valid at all
