2813 started its life in Cornwall before moving on to else where .
I can only recall it being at Weymouth (hence “I think”) who had many 36’ saloons; I stand corrected.

It started of at the St Austell Depot For driver Training , there were Black & White Pics of it New in Service in Cornwall on The Flickr Site .I can only recall it being at Weymouth (hence “I think”) who had many 36’ saloons; I stand corrected.

Tridents 32761 & 32853 plus E400 33422 all on "Tinner" duties today. Catching on recent arrivals and Tridents 33141 & 33142 were both seen in Truro today.
Not the photo you mentioned but it was obviously a Cornwall car for a while https://flic.kr/p/f9CBQd - never stop learning on this board
We had 2813 in Yeovil for a time as well. If I remember right it had Green plastic seating whilst most had Brown plastic seating with some later examples having moquette fabric seat coveringNot the photo you mentioned but it was obviously a Cornwall car for a while https://flic.kr/p/f9CBQd - never stop learning on this board
It is unusual. The allocated single deck contingent is the branded ex Reading Scanias but I rarely see more than one on the route. An Optare on the A17 this afternoon got me to thinking - isn't that rather rare? I don't pay an awful lot of attention to these things, but Darts usually seem to make up any single deck composition.
I saw two of the Scanias out one day last week, one on the A1 and the other on the A17, but that was unusual too, since last autumn at least. It is unusual. The allocated single deck contingent is the branded ex Reading Scanias but I rarely see more than one on the route.
Last reported with Somerset Passenger SoulitionsReferring to Scania stuff, Is 36800 still with us or no?
On the A1?! That really is an unsuitable route for a 12m bus!I saw two of the Scanias out one day last week, one on the A1 and the other on the A17, but that was unusual too, since last autumn at least.
Perhaps the 18 plate buses are nominally allocated to Penzance, thus wouldn't automatically appear on the other U routes.Ex- Buses of Somerset Dennis Trident 32872 was on the 14:10 U1 service from Falmouth Moor to Truro, Lemon Quay and the 15:05 return service. This is due to Falmouth depot being a bus short after the 23:04 U2 service from Redruth to Falmouth failed last night.
Don't belive the two '18' plate Uni buses 33301 or 33302 have only worked on the U4 route and have yet to make an appearance on U1/U2/U3 and 231 services, the U3 service is still reliant on B7s and Tridents despite the Uni fleet now having 15 vehicles
Think that was the case with the Scania and Optare demonstrator buses when they were down here, belive they were also based at Penzance and appeared nearly completely on the U4 services, although I believe the Optare demonstrator did appear on U3 and A17 services a couple of timesPerhaps the 18 plate buses are nominally allocated to Penzance, thus wouldn't automatically appear on the other U routes.
If you want to see/travel on one of these, the duty that continues through Penzance to the College weekday p.m. is a very good bet for an appearance.Perhaps the 18 plate buses are nominally allocated to Penzance, thus wouldn't automatically appear on the other U routes.
Sisters 41489 & 91 are both withdrawn in Ravenhill, both require maintenance, so I'm thinking Kernow could request them & do them up for the mousehole route with 41490, it'd give them quite a few more years in service that's for sure!
Absolutely no way they'd fit. Far too big.Pretty certain that they wouldn’t fit into Mousehole.
