Stumbled across Trident 33176 in Camborne this morning painted in this all over pink livery, yet another colour to go with the already colourful KERNOW fleet. Be interesting to see what route adaptation it carries depending on where they plan to use it. Also seen in Camborne more Trident 2's painted in Olympia, couldn't remember what the fleet numbers were though. Jersey Dart 43863 is poorly at the moment having spent over a week now parked in the same spot with half its back seats taken out.

43863 has a poorly engine!

Still waiting for 33057, 33113, & 33170 to come to Cornwall (if they are that is), though 33057 has a missing engine at the moment

Yeah they definitely should have done that, though I don't know if they did or not..

Anyways, back to the subject of First Kernow! Referring to an earlier post, will the old tridents in Great Yarmouth come back to Cornwall or just head for Barnsley from GY?

Two things -

32801/09/49 (which I think you’re referring to) haven’t operated in Cornwall AFAIK. From London to FEC to Essex and then to FHD before a last hurrah back at FEC.

Even if they had, why would they? FK are busy withdrawing similar so unlikely they’d want to send three equally knackered ones down! 32801 might attract someone for preservation but otherwise, can’t see much future for them.

Ah right, I was mainly thinking they'd come back for parts and engine removals before heading off to Barnsley to be ripped apart.

By the way, is 43907 still with us or no? (KU02YTX)

Got plenty in Cornwall to cannibalise anyway, and First EC/Essex aren’t short of Tridents of their own (despite recent transfers).

32809 is rumoured to become a DTV.

I’ve just driven from Hayle to liskeard and passed two westbound E400mmcs on trade plates. Number plates taped over but looked like WK18CG* for both of them.

Absolutely love the new MMCs! Beauties if you ask me! And they're very fast & comfortable! Here's 33305 basking in the sunshine at Bodmin Morrisons! :)

Yesterday travelled on new blue 33302 on U4 from Penzance to Helston, and later on the return journey in the late afternoon. Also saw 33301 in service on the U4, with 33164 on 37. At Penzance 33001 was unusually seen on a T1.

Funny you should mention said bus as this morning I saw it passing ASDA in St Austell along with open top Olympian 34137, both presumably were heading for Eden outstation. 43907 has since been reregistered T12GWR

BoS have acquired KF52TZJ from crosville. Who’d have expected First to be obtaining a Beaver in 2018!

I’ve heard there *may* be other vehicles from crosville.
First have purchased 7 school contracts from crosville and associated vehicles according to my inside contact in BoS!

So this is obviously leading to the full takeover of crosville and southern national, meaning somerset passenger solutions will also be First's.
