I'm thinking Bath will get the next available batch of Streetlites
I'm thinking Bath will get the next available batch of Streetlites
Why?
Also, just specifies single deckers. May not be Streetlites?
I think they may get a batch of E200MMCs.
My point indeed - they may dual source (as in Wales) and go for e200MMCs. Also, as has been pointed out before in this thread by others:
- The 39 double decks and 11 single decks vs. 39 buses for Bristol - doesn't automatically mean the 39 Bristol vehicles will be deckers? Could be 11 deckers for the X39 - not saying I have any insight but just worth reiterating that 2+2......
- There are some other services that are also well patronised and may also attract new vehicles - the 7 in Weston?
Then there's always the potential for something that we haven't considered and comes from leftfield e.g. I don't know if there's any age stipulation or otherwise on the Airport Flyer but those vehicles are now coming up to 5/6 years old?
We've had so many surprises - who's to say that we might not get another!
Does anyone know what the PVR is for the X74? It was three but with the UWE short journeys during term time has it increased?
Think it's 6 now - but might be 5.
53401 on 174 today. Should feel at home with all the Solo s in Bath!
42925 on Uni U1 and another Dart on 267. 42968 on 14 so still in Bath.
Has anyone seen 30866 in service? And has anyone a clue about 63068 which I personally haven't seen in service since last August?
Some odd workings there. I don't think i've seen 63068 in a while too - what is actually happening with the Maxs? I've seen 2 on 178/379 for the last week or so.
Perhaps the idea that they were "allocated to Westbury" is a bit off the mark. It might be they form a pool with the B7RLEs that work through various boards including Westbury.
The 178/379 that were exclusively 47*** Streetlites supplemented by 429** Darts now seem to be much more mixed with B7RLEs, long Streetlites, all taking a turn
Don't forget E200s that sometimes appear. I'm personally waiting to see a decker on there - it won't be long!!
Two single deckers in a row spotted on the 76 this morning! I was thinking maybe they've finally made the 75 & 76 fully double decker'd again at long last! But no, still not yet by the looks of it!
What's going on with these new double deckers on the 72? Or not on the 72 as the case may be. I've only seen one on there so far and that was a couple of weeks back. Every time I see a 72, it's just the usual single deckers.

63068 is currently in County Durham having a variant of Wright's 'MicroHybrid' system retrofitted.
X74 PVR is 5, 3 for the full route and 2 for the UWE shorts. Talking of buses away, 32687 is in the North East too, it's still being repaired from its fire damage.
John
I can't believe that 32687 is still being repaired! How long ago was it? July?

It was June!
It was sat round the back of Muller Road for some time though - may have been awaiting a decision on whether it should be repaired?
Today:

32351 also working the 47

I've noticed in Bristol First have boosted their advertising budget - i've seen bus stop billboards advertising 376 and70/71 and there's now a large advert for 1 just before Temple Meads (in centre direction).
