According to First official lists 32851 32852 and 32878 'left the fleet' towards the end of 2017. Does anyone know where these might have gone? Thanks.

I was talking to Dan a couple of weeks ago and he believes quite a few old Tridents were being collected (or have been) by Wigleys.

I'll post my picture as I'm sure it may be of interest to some anyway, but here is preserved 52554 at the back of Taunton bus station awaiting to be relocated.

Next to this was BMC schoolbus 68570, is this the only one based in Taunton? There was suggestion there was (or used to be) another one to

It says here that three are supposed to be in Taunton, so they possibly moved quite recently?

Uk buses fleetlist isn’t the most accurate thing about, albeit a good base list. It relies on enthusiasts emailing in, and as a result there is a fair few bits not correct as enthusiasts sometimes guess or believe false Gen. Of course between us I’m sure we could get it’s accuracy improved if we had the time

Indeed - some of those listed as driver trainers in Cornwall only do so on an "as and when" basis.

68521 was working from the Minehead outstation where I think one is permanently allocated (though this changes as vehicles rotate via the Taunton depot) last week (see pic)

40322 and 50236 are both SORN and haven't been seen since last year, possibly scrapped? (Citation needed for both bits of info)

53040 and 53107 are both said to have been transferred, though there has been no recent photos of them?

Also, 69218 & 69219 are still marked down as awaiting transfer apparently. Have they been sent to South Yorkshire yet or no?

53040 and 53107 were still in service in Cornwall as of this time last week.

For the record 68552 and 68554 are both BMC 1100FE and not Blue Bird chassis/body.

W899VLN (32930) is no longer with First Kernow. It is now the cornish embassy bus, though W813PAF (Ex 53013) and Ex 32930 are both stored at Penzance.

Could someone confirm the news with 20502, as I saw it with all the legals on the other day, departing St Austell Bus Station to be specific

53107 is still here , its in Helston at the moment , cant see it leaving till the new ones get here.

69219 was still in the corner of Taunton depot yard on Saturday March 31st when passing at 1615 so could still be hibernating in Deepest sleepy Somerset.

Regards the Varios see my earlier post regards 56003, whilst 56001 was in Camborne this morning although I didn’t see it in service.

Not suggesting that you are implying that everything that is delicensed becomes SORN’d but there have been issues in the past getting MOT tests.

Just to add to my original comment it would seem that the DVLA website is showing all the B7TL from Ensign as unlicenced. I am not sure I believe this so any sightings of these vehicles in service would be appreciated

@Blackpudding I believe they are all still in service, V308LGC is regularly on my local 27 route.

This is a list of all the former Ensign hired vehicles. I have strong reason to believe First bought these all outright at some point.
The mid month expiry of licence without going on SORN indicates a change of registered keeper normally.
Licence always expires at 00:00 on the 1st of month other than when a change of keeper is lodged.
