Fixed Tickets Elizabeth Line

Hi all,

I'm a little bit confused about the Elizabeth Line.

I have a fixed ticket to travel from Bradford Forster Square to Custom House via the Elizabeth Line tomorrow. I take the train from Bradford to King's Cross, the underground to Liverpool St, and then an Elizabeth Line service to Custom House. I'm clear that I must take the booked train for the initial Bradford - London part. Must I also take the listed Elizabeth Line service, or does it work like the underground in that I can hop on whichever one? I defintely don't want to end up with a fine - especially not after how much the tickets themselves were haha!

Thanks so much in advance.

Are you able to either photo (With identifying details blanked out) or list the tickets held please? I presume one of your tickets is to London Underground Zone 1?

The Elizabeth Line is unreservable and the trains are every few minutes, you can take any reasonable connecting train.

Hi. I haven't picked the tickets up yet, but this the email says (screenshot below) (under both the Bradford - Londond and Liverpool St - Custom House portions): "Tickets used: Bradford (Yorks) Sations to London Underground Zones 1-3."

Yes as mentioned by @AlterEgo, you will be able to take any service on this ticket. The Elizabeth Line is covered by the London Underground Zonal portion, which is not restricted to a service. In fact you can make a journey to any station in Zones 1-3 on the Underground and DLR, you do not need to travel to Custom House, or via Elizabeth Line, if you do need to change plans.

That's very good to hear. Thank you both so much! : )

I wanted to provide a quick update just in case anyone in future reads this and has the same unspoken question that I did: It's not allowed to leave Liverpool St station then go back in to Liverpool St and continue on. Probably should've asked that question, but it didn't occur to me at all that there would be any issue stepping outside for food and then going back in at the same place haha

Indeed, you're not allowed to break your journey on an Advance.

Yes, next time I know to take my break at King's Cross, since you have to go out anyway, but I'm more familiar with what's around Liverpool Street. But next time I will definitely stick to King's Cross.

I believe the issue here is ending the London Underground usage of the ticket, after which you can't restart it, rather than the fact it's an Advance.
