I am currently converting my Lima model of Fragonset 47703 into preserved 47715. The model requires several superficial alterations but I wondered if anyone else had an pictures of Fragonset 47 models or of 47715 in model or real form. Assistance is much appreciated as it will be taking part in a special display during the Diesel Gala at Wensleydale Railway. Cheers.

A simple search for 47715 on fotopic's search facility came up with these results. Some of the photos may be of help, well the ones of 47715 in Fragonset livery at least.

Good luck, I was once going to repaint my Hornby Parcels 47808 into 47703 or another Fragonset livery 47, but never did, might do it for fun one day.

cheers. My 47 is already in fragonset livery but I need to add all the trappings it has recieved in preservation. The nameplates and plaque need adding along with the shedcode for Northallerton Depot. I will trawl the pics and try to measure the real thing!

It May Be A God But It Won't Be Long Before It Goes To Heaven! 47715 is an ace locomotive and besides it isn't in the Wensleydale Gala line up.

It's there but it doesn't mean it's going anywhere in a hurry. Lets just say there is some things that aren't quite complete! See the pics of it when servicable and stored. It is currently dumped in the headshunt in a very faded state. It appears that water hasn't come near the cab ends for several deckades! And with any luck it will be at Barrow Hill Or TJ Thompsons by the time the gala starts.<(<D

47715 is now complete and I will post some photographs soon. After a quick overhaul of the Lima model it looks very respectable and is ready to go on display at Leeming Bar as soon as the rake of coaches are ready.

The Lima body is very good, even so much so that Hornby have barely touched it when re-releasing it!

It's so good & i'm so sad that i've bought a super-detailed 47710 to convert into 47715. I've also completed a cameo display box and i will post pictures when both are complete. Comments are welcome.
