Freedom Pass + BZ6 on EMR to Luton

I note the presence of previous threads on similar topics but I could not find a satisfactory answer.

I would be grateful if somebody could confirm the validity of a ticket combination of a Luton Airport Parkway - BZ6 single coupled with a freedom pass, on EMR trains (i.e. the so called Luton Airport Express).

Obviously, this notwithstanding all other usual restrictions.

The Freedom Pass website suggests that Freedom Passes are not valid on EMR which would seem about right to me, in the same way they are not valid on Avanti, but I am still unsure.

Freedom Pass is not valid on EMR, regardless of whether you add on a Boundary Zone 6 ticket. You'd need to use Thameslink.
