<( surely if LU is anything to go by ticket offices being closed down will be the long term aim ?? If the posts about Overground ticket office staff are anything to go by then unusual ticket requirements will become more difficult over time (the current staff will obviously TUPE over) and the good people of the likes of Romford / Brentwood may not feel part of National Rail.

My bold

Does such a thing actually exist.....;)

Oi :p

Point is, TfL have committed to manning all stations on the crossrail route for the duration of service - currently Brentwood station is often unmanned as early as 6:15pm, which includes no ticket office, which is pretty bad for people who might want to renew season tickets the night before to save the huge queue the following morning as I used to do! It also means no toilets after 6pm which is pretty frustrating too :)

Then I guess they're parking them away from what was their regular spot for years then ;)

2 8cars stabled in Plts 1&2 overnight leaving one 8car to shunt from the Yard for the 06:26. Maybe the lovely shiny new livery most of them now have makes them more covert....
