The first FA Cup final at the original Wembley Stadium was between Bolton Wanders and West Ham United in 1923. The official capacity was said to be 123,000, but numbers far in excess gained admission and the crowd reached the pitch touchline area. A mounted policeman on a white police horse called Billy made valiant efforts to clear as much of the pitch surrounding area and it became known as "The White Horse Final".

I don't know the original official name of the stadium.

It was indeed, full title "British Empire Exhibition Stadium", completed a matter of days before the 1923 FA Cup Final as per Paul's informative post, and built as part of the 1924-5 British Empire Exhibition in Wembley Park.
