Getting reservations after buying tickets

    Is it possible to get seat reservations after buying the tickets?

    Providing the trains are reserveable, yes.

    Some TOCs charge a fee.

    Yes, head down to a local ticket office with the tickets you've purchased and ask for reservations on the services you intend to use.
