Don’t know if this has been mentioned before, but after X years as a Glasgow resident, I finally made it to the above which has the occasional open days - they boast only 5% of their collection of transport exhibits are actually on display at Riverside (the Transport Museum)… the remaining 95% is stored at Nitshill. If you’ve never been, check out the Museums website for open days for the themed viewings (Armoury, Paintings, Textiles, and of course, Transport.
