Hi are there any plans to extend the Glasgow Subway?

I'm sure I've heard rumblings, but not sure if pie in the sky or reality?

There have been various plans over the last 20 years or so, most recent I can recall is putting in an extension for the Commonwealth Games and like the previous supposed schemes that came to nowt.

There have been plans since shortly after it opened.

The success of these plans to date will give you a good indication of the probability of success for any such plans in future.

The new SNP administration is going to commission a feasibility study into extending it but the chances of it happening are zero imo.
