Hi everyone

I was wondering if to spot at Glasgow Central, Queen Street and Patrick you had to sign in and out of the station to spot and where you do it at these stations if so.

Also can anyone recommend any spots on these stations to be able to take some great photos

Cheers Aiden :)

At Glasgow Central you signed in at the station reception. I've not done it for a while though; my last visit was as an onward traveller.

At Queen Street sign in at Customer Services. At Partick I believe its unmanned so just abide by the Network Rail Guidance and avoid using tripods etc.

The country end of Partick also has some good viewing angles as well though but don't expect much variety like this video!

That wee stand has been shut for a while, since at least the start of lockdown. Certainly seemed to be the last time I passed through.

Decent views to be had there as you say, particularly at the county end of the station (attached image is my own):

Patrick isn’t unmanned – there are staff downstairs and they keep a pretty good eye on the security cameras.

They don’t care what you’re doing, even if you’re standing on the platform for hours, as long as you don’t smoke or vape. If you do either of those, even out on the open platforms, they’ll come up and chase you.
