Proberly Failed, but i still don't see the point in it being double headed when they could take the failed one off at Kings Cross :?

maybe the failed 91 cant actually move or something, meaning they would have to attach to it, pull it off, take it away, come back, join to the set, finally leave, probably late

Not entirely sure. Me and a few other came to King's Cross, to see a double tailed set. One 91113 was detached, then went into a siding (Light loco, Hornby style acceleration!). Another set arrived at Kings Cross, so 91113 came out of the siding and coupled onto the set, which formed the 18:00. I'm not sure why though.
