The good news is that the Gotherington landslip damage is about to be tackled. The full story is here (just posted on the GWR website today)

It is also good to see that work has recommenced on laying track north to Laverton (where a loop will shortly be installed) and that work continues at Broadway in preparation to rebuild the platforms (which will be longer than in pre-preservation days).
