We are stopping near great ayton on Saturday.

We would like to see some heavy diesels on full throttle from NYMR- is there any chance of trains from Great Ayton to Whitby or indeed Grosmont ? I can only see one per day each way-

If we could drive to see a fast moorland express then we may do that.

If anyone could suggest timings at any vantage pound that would be great
