Why don't they send it down to Lovers Walk so they can use it as a Christmas tree to keep the Coastway fleet going?Current status is: -
Scrapped – 313.018,22-32,35-8,40-6,50-9,62-3 (35)
Stored – 313.033,39,47,48,49,60,61 (7)
Southern - 313.001-17,19-20 (19)
NR - 313.021 (1)
GN – 313.034,64 (2)
According to RAIL, after the railtour one unit will be dispatched to scrap and the other stripped for parts and taken away on a low loader for scrap.
No saviour for 064 then!
It would make sense... It could quite happily live on 3 lovers for the foreseeable...Why don't they send it down to Lovers Walk so they can use it as a Christmas tree to keep the Coastway fleet going?
Wondering if they get scrapped immediately on arrival at booths/ mas or if there is going to be some time sitting there before they’re even looked at?

Off topic also, how can I find out what other classes are being taken there? I am keen to know.. might make a good trip to visit close by and see some stuff passing by.
Haven't Booths applied to stack class 315s prior to cutting?its a shame Vic Berry’s has gone, just imagine a stack of 313s, (photoshop any one?).
Surely not, I mean I do hope so! But isn’t it being scrapped after
No, it's going to Southern to add a bit of colour to the Coastway
You do know NSE was an early/prototype version of "Pride"...
Amazing what a simple clean and a fresh vinyling (or paint; though I suspect it’s the former) can do. Great!Looks good.
