So, picking through bits and pieces over the last week or so. I think this is where they all are:-

I think we have 15 units that have been used in passinger service, but 020 has been moved back to Peterbo Nene Sidings and is reported as stored with pan down.

003 arrived at HE takes the number up to 6, which are been prepared for work. If I've missed any working passinger trains let me know.

This leaves 11 at Worksop.

Welcome updates and corrections as always

I may be missing something but 14+6+1+11 equals 32, and there are only 30 379s.
020 and 025 reported twice in the above listings.

Aside from 023/024 the list I was shown is/was correct for in service, locations of units was not disclosed at the start of the May TT

When I came back from Watford on Friday I could see what was either a 379 or 387 in Wembley Yard. Tucked away behind all the 350s. You would only see it from the cab not the saloon though. Obviously I can’t get a picture but there was something 379esque in there last Friday i am sure.

If it was still looking white it will be a 379!

379026 and 379017 are currently in platform 8 at Cambridge forming 1T51 starting at Cambridge, not Kings Lynn.

Presumably they sat at Cambridge all afternoon after failing to run the 1326. Helpful...

1T19 (0947 Ely-KGX) was 2x387 this morning, despite being a 379 diagram - lets see if that makes the 1710 off KLN more likely to run.

Edit : looks like the 1710 is running, amazing. 1640 cancelled instead though, but at least that has good alternatives from Cambridge North.

379020 and 379025 are mentioned twice in different categories that’s why! So the OP would need to put those two trains into the correct categories hence it adds to 32

Apologies for being unaware there was one at Wembley, 379021 is currently being dragged from there to Hornsey via Peterborough Eastfield by 57303

I am planning to travel on these on Thursday (12/06/2025). Any idea what trains they (should) be on leaving KGX?

Thank you

If someone hasn't already mentioned it, I though it'd be good to mention that GN have suggested that the Class 379 should be coming to King's Lynn services very soon, as stated in the video subtitles in the recent video with GTR Matt. I'd assume that the diagram would be one referenced in the post above.

They’ve been running King’s Lynn services for quite a while now already

57303 dragged 379005 from Worksop to Hornsey today
My daughter managed to capture that working on her way home from school, as it waited at Welwyn Garden City for a Moorgate service to go ahead at around 1530 yesterday afternoon. I was very pleased that she could spot an unusual working!

Ok, so with the arrival of 005 and 021 from Worksop and Wembley at Hornsey, I think this is the state of play.

Ive added space to add first day in service and added what I think, but if people want to share what they know. Happy to put togther.

Also would be interested to know why 020 was used and is now parked up at Peterbo.

Let me know the anmends.

Currently on 1T51 17.10 from Kings Lynn to King's Cross and it's a pair of 379s. Certainly more comfortable than 387s though the air conditioning is out in one of the coaches in the rear unit. Will edit with unit numbers once I get off as I don't tend to look.

Edit: 379026 leading, 379017 on the rear.

Interestingly on Tiger where a service is worked by 379's the only coach advertised as having first class is the one closest to London (see screenshot below). Might there be a change of policy over first class declassification coming soon?

It could also be that GTR haven't finished uploading the facility information data into the Worldline CIS. These facility diagrams have been introduced relatively recently on GN services and it is a manual task to define what unit has what facilities in the relevant systems AIUI.

Well the first class area is only at the London end on 379s. Weird though that the other unit isn't displaying a first class designation. I wouldn't mind getting a bargain on a 379 first class!

1T53 17.40 from King's Lynn to King's Cross was also two 379s. 379029 leading and 379025 on rear. I have also edited my previous post with unit numbers.
