69010 is shown on RTT to work 5Q13 1657 Worksop to Derby Lit today (Thurs 29/02), another 720 returning to Derby ?

How many 720's left to be delivered now? Looks like a number of services stk need strengthening. Noticed a GA train station poster warns customers to use first 7 coaches at Lea Bridge station, but nothing about Meridian Water. That suggests 10-car formations could use Lea Valley line but it would have to be a service not diagrammed to serve Meridian water along the third track.

In answer to Railperf - I make it 18 units still to be delivered mainly very early build and very late build ones. With all these recent moves to and from Worksop for attention there may be a chance that some deliveries are in the offing.

A 5Q11 1050 Derby Lit to Worksop is running today (05/03), powered by 69010 - might it be another 720 for mods ?
There might be a 5Q12 return but it is not livened up yet (at 1155):

Many thanks for this info 3973EXL: I see a return 5Q12 Worksop to Derby has also run (rather early) presumably moving another 720?

On Tuesday 12.03.24 a 5Q68 1000 Derby Lit to Willesden TMD was livened up to run - the locomotive for this move arrived from Leicester at 0752 and was despatched back to Leicester at 0848 with the 5Q68 being cancelled. From this it would seem that a 720 delivery to Willesden is very likely in the near future, so there seems to be some progress. Also of interest, from photographs published elsewhere most if not all of the units recently moved between Derby Lit - Worksor - Derby Lit, appear to have been un-numbered.

Thank you "Exceptional Load", this is a development: I note that a 5Q72 0911 Derby Lit to Willesden TMD was again livened up to run today but was again cancelled only to be replaced by this 5Q68 1211 Derby Lit to Wembley ICD which is a slightly different destination to recent 720 deliveries, although it makes little difference. At least new 720s are starting to come south again and I only hope this is not a false start as there are still another 17 to come !

last i heard it was at Ilford but doesn't seamed to have entered service

On ukraillog.co.uk it says it's at Ilford, but still on testing. Seems to have been there for a while as I heard it arrived there in September.

Indeed, my last record of it was on the 1st February 2024 when I caught wind of it having moved to Ilford EMUD for what I presume to be some form of static testing. Prior to that I had it down as having done some mainline testing in October 2023

Progress on entry into service seems to have slowed down. Perhaps we are scraping the bottom of the barrel of easily fixed units ?. Maybe the newest units are missing parts used on fixes to earlier built units ?. Does anyone know ?.

No specific date, but certainly last year, and yes it’s at Derby, a number of coaches split up were seen on weekend of 9th March.
