Would a GM Ranger or Evening Ranger be valid on this service from Wigan NW to Manchester?

Thanks for the replies - my view was also that its "ok", but its nice to have confirmation (albeit unofficial).

I might have to have a wander to Wigan one evening - no new track as yet in 2013...
