G'day everyone,
I know this is a bit of a long shot but maybe someone might be able to help
From memory Grindleford still had a functioning goods yard until 1982 and I'm curious to know what trains served it. I can certainly recall freight trains with only two or three wagons running along the Hope Valley route in the early 1980's and I'm wondering whether they would have made a call at Grindleford? Either that or perhaps a trip working from Tinsley?
Any information would be gratefully received.
