I travelled To Heysham on the train last Thursday, yes it did run.

I noticed that on departing Morecombe the train stopped and two members of staff got off and went to a lever frame cabinet and operated the points, I assume that this is normal and not a failure.

I wondered if this is the only place where this happened.

I also noticed a flashing red light, signal? did this mean that the points were not safe to use in their current position?

I always thought that Coombe Junction on the Liskeard to Looe branch was another place with a traincrew operated ground frame?

Battersby - sort of, I think it's suppose to work automatically in connection with the tokens but can be manual
