Could they terminate the Rainhams at Kentish Town or West Hampstead as there aren’t any Orpingtons off-peak?Not now they couldn’t, the Rainhams are in the way.

A poor idea, now no direct trains off peak between any stations between Cricklewood and Radlett and anywhere north of St Albans.Could they terminate the Rainhams at Kentish Town or West Hampstead as there aren’t any Orpingtons off-peak?
you more than anyone across these forum threads rightly point out how much money the railways are costing so we need to solve that conundrum by doing things differently. Granted it would be very unwise to destabilise the TLK timetable as its pretty robust, despite other comments on other threads, but doesn't mean that we don't take up the challenge. Guess it upto government where they see overall train performance vs cost of running the service. Not now they couldn’t, the Rainhams are in the way.
Which left just the one Peterborough-Horsham service (down to one an hour) from the GN through the core. All the 9Sxx were cancelled today
