Time for some guesswork: Gateshead (the old version of the Bus Station)?

Not Gateshead.

This was a quite a short lived building, decorated with bits of old local industry. It was assembled then demolished (due to the dingy design full of nooks and crannies attracting undesirables) within approx 20? years, now replaced by a smaller, lighter affair.

The town is host to a well known brand of snack, and a quality model loco kit producer...

Yes, Consett- home to phileas fogg and DJH, but no longer a steelworks or even a bus depot now. National was RPT 757V and the Olympian C521LJR, this may even still exist?

Well I had got the operator right, I just couldn't place the Bus Station: not surprising, as I have only been to Consett in recent years. The Olympian is still in existence.

I haven't got anything to hand at the moment, so it is an open floor.

Doh!. I should have got that one. Know the building looked familiar - I'm just used to seeing the other side from the train far more often.

Galashiels Bus Station looks much the same now, although the buses aren't as interesting.
