Anyway I thought I'd grab a photo last night when I went over the level crossing at Exeter St David's.
Feel the atmosphere (of the toilets being emptied).

It is neither of those two. Although on looking at some photographs of buffer beams I can see why you guessed 31, it is actually very similar-looking.
