H&C white (and orange) lights on side of carriages

I’ve never seen white lights lit above the orange ones which mean the doors are released. What are they for? Seen at Hammersmith H&C

Part of the new CBTC signalling system which went live yesterday. The white lights illuminate around 10 seconds before departure time and signify that the train is 'ready to depart'.
