Just wondering are these level crossings (one on each side of the station) and another nearby (??) internal port roads (e.g. from vehicle waiting area to berths) or is one a public road?

Thanks in advance for any info.

The one at the London End is internal to the port. Cross that and the security guys will get excited.

The one at the Country End is open to the public, but only leads to platform 1 and the cruise ship terminal. This is where the coaches can be found when the boat trains are replaced by road transport.

Those are the only level crossings I can think of at Parkeston. Cars to and from the ships pass across a bridge over the railway.
