Hastings Units @ Three Bridges

The two power cars from the Hastings Unit are sat in the new Three Bridges depot today. Any ideas what they were up to?

Shunting the class 700 IIRC, don't know why they are being used for that though.

Has just been explained on the Class 700 thread:

Hastings Diesels have a emergency dellner couplings, as used recently when used for the class 375 drag the other week. A combination of that and as already mentioned, probably a cheaper hire rate than a 66.

If anyone is on the Preserved Thumpers page on facebook, a photo of the two motor coaches attached to the 700 in on there.
