Have I passed the psychometric tests (full process)?

Hello,

I wondered if somebody might be abe to help me with this. I was thinking of applying to the GBRailfreight talent pool (https://careers-gbrailfreight.icims...train-driver---peterborough-(talent-pool)/job).

I applied to work at LNER back in January but was unsuccessful at the video interview stage. I had successfully completed a bunch of tests (situational judgment, concentration etc. iirc). Does this mean that I've passed the psychometric (full process) - which is required to be in the GBRailfreight talent pool?

Over five years ago I successfully completed the in-person assessment day at GTR, but then also failed at interview (!). But anyway, that was over five years ago.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Did you go to a centre and sit several paper and computer exams that were adjudicated by a person?

The psychometric process includes the mmi, did you do that or did you fail it, the rest of the process is the computer and paper tests.

Hi, the online tests you did with LNER don't count I'm afraid. The assessment centre ones you did with GTR are what you need for the GBRF application. Though, if it has been over 5 years then they will have expired. GTR often do the MMI on a separate day to the rest of the tests, is that the interview you failed or was it the DMI? If you were unsuccessful at DMI then bear in mind that you only have one chance left to pass the psychometric tests.

DMI is not part of the psychometric day, so if you fail that then it doesn't count towards a life. MMI does however but as you say, even if you passed everything over 5 years ago it would have expired anyway.

As others have said the online tests LNER do are just part of their initial screening of candidates and not the "official" psychometric tests.

Thanks for all the replies, looks like I have to start from the beginning again then.

I went to an assessment centre with GTR but I think I failed the DMI (it was an interview with two driver managers). I didn't get as far as the mmi then.
