Starting with Elizabeth line, which is easier/faster, change for District at Paddington or change at Ealing Broadway and then again at Earls Court? Person has a freedom pass so fare isn’t an issue.

I would go Ealing and Earls Court as both are straightforward and there are twice as many Districts compared with Paddington.
TBF I've not used the Elizabeth at Padd so no idea what the interchange is like.
The TfL journey planner should give an idea of relative times.

Here's a couple of alternatives which may or may not be worth considering:

A) Liz Line to Ealing Broadway, Central Line to Shepherd's Bush, Overground to West Brompton, District to Putney Bridge

B) No.90 bus to Feltham station, train to Putney, walk to the bridge.

A is too much a hassle considering the out-of-station interchange at Shepherd's Bush and the number of changes, compared to the two-change all-rail option at Ealing Broadway and Earl's Court.
B is worth considering as it's the simplest and most direct.
