Not sure if I will be able to meet my partner when she returns to the UK next week, she could purchase an Anytime Web single for £14.50 rail card discounted. What I can't find out is the Oyster fare with a Railcard discount added. She's likely to be catching a train at about 1830 although could be after 1900 when I understand travel is at an off peak rate.

The Oyster fares are shown here - £25 anytime (touching in 06:30-09:30 or 16:00-19:00) and £16.50 off-peak.

The Anytime Web single is likely to be the cheaper option in this case.

HEx changed their fares slightly during covid. Now the cheapest tickets (not including advances) are the online ones, being £22 all-day (£14.50 w/ Railcard).
Contactless/Oyster and TVM tickets cost £25 all-day (£16.50 w/ Railcard).

HEx no longer has off-peak or peak periods on paper tickets. However I'm not certain if you'll get charged the full £25 in TfL's peak even though you have a Railcard.

The TfL single fares finder still says it’s full price in the peak, railcard discount is applied Offpeak.
