Anyone know if this an internal job, it doesn't say anywhere that it is but I failed the pre-screening questions and that is the only one I think I could have possibly answered wrong? :roll:

Can't see how an external can demonstrate exemplary behaviour on board HEX trains (as staff)

I clicked yes to this assuming it meant 6 months continuous working, I then also tried again on my work email saying no and the same result came, I just think it is internal

Also in the job description it mentions 'manager endorsement' so I would assume it's internel? Also note the bit that says;

Please note that all applications will need to be endorsed by line managers.

Sorry, I work at Hex and there are no plans to recruit externally. The advert seems to state Internal Only at the top of the page. Not sure if that was there before.

If you read my first post, you'll find I actually mentioned that...
They updated it today to say 'internal only', yesterday it didn't say that.

I know HEX only recruit internally for the train driver roles. However, when the application went live, it gave the interpretation it was both. Hence my further posts highlighting quotes from the job description.
Then I applied a bit of optimism, that the wrong application went live. Who knows what they plan to do? I know in the past they recruited externally for the role.

Yes it makes sense but I still don't know where you've got your information about Hex from. I know because I work for them. Yes they did recruit externally before but that was because they had exhausted all possible internal candidates and still needed drivers which was quite a rare occurrence. Generally Hex use external recruitment for drivers / operational managers as a last resort.
