Heathrow Express

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can advise please.

Travelling from Heathrow Airport to Kent, with a anytime day single Priv, also valid and endorsed as such for Southeastern High-speed. When I purchased the ticket I specifically asked the booking clerk to make sure it was valid on Heathrow Express which I was told it was. Guard on HEX said it was only valid for Heathrow Connect, but let me off after a long look at the ticket.

Is the guard right or wrong please?

I'm sure if the ticket is to Heathrow Rail it's valid on the express. He may be getting confused with s free box which is valid to Hayes on the connect service
